pH Plus Granules

Our pH-Plus granules are quickly dissolving granules to increase the pH value of your pool water. An optimal pH value is a prerequisite for perfect water care. Only at an ideal value of 7.0 - 7.4 do other pool care products develop their optimal effect! If the pH value is not optimally adjusted, this can result in eye irritation, algae formation or limescale. 

During the day, the pH value cannot be changed by more than 0.3 - 0.5. Adjustment should be made slowly over several days.

Experience has shown that to raise the pH value by 0.1, you need:

•   5,000 - 10,000 liters water content: 5 g​ per 2,500 liters
• 15,000 - 25,000 liters water content: 10 - 20 g per 10,000 liters
• 30,000 - 50,000 liters water content: 20 - 50 g per 10,000 liters

 1,000L = 1m³

Note that after adding pH raising and/or lowering agents, the pH value can take up to 24 hours to adjust throughout the water. Therefore, avoid uncontrolled further additions.

Important information on the use of pH Plus Granules

Add the calculated amount of pH-Plus to the pool over the water surface in small doses throughout the day. Otherwise the water can become very cloudy (milky), which can take up to several days before the water becomes clear again. pH-Plus granules do not stain the film!

Keep an eye on the pH value by regularly checking it with a suitable measuring instrument / test device. In this way you can react to changes at an early stage!
