Are you the new owner of a swimming pool or have you had your own pool for a long time? It doesn't really matter, because we all have to regulate the pH value. If the pH value is not correct, this has different consequences. Not only can limescale deposits occur in the swimming pool or pool, algae formation or skin irritation can also be the result. Above all, however, other pool care products only work in the optimal pH range, so that it is the basis for all pool care.

Our application recommendations for pH reducer granules:

During the day, the pH value cannot be changed by more than 0.3 - 0.5. Adjustment should be made slowly over several days.

Experience has shown that to lower the pH value by 0.1, you need:

  •   5,000 - 10,000 liters water content: 5 g per 2,500 liters
  • 15,000 - 25,000 liters water content: 20 - 50 g per 10,000 liters
  • 30,000 - 50,000 liters water content: 50 - 100 g per 10,000 liters

1.000 L = 1 m³

Note that the pH value can take up to 24 hours to adjust throughout the water after the addition of pH-lowers and/or pH-raisers! Therefore, avoid uncontrolled further additions.

How is the pH minus granulate used?

The pH-Minus granules are distributed over the water surface and added to the pool. The granules sink to the bottom and dissolve. There are no stains on the film due to the pH-Minus granulate. Keep an eye on the pH value by regularly checking it with a suitable measuring kit (test device). In this way you can react to changes at an early stage!
