Active Oxygen Test kit

This DPD pool test kit contains 20 DPD No.4 and 20 phenol red reagent tablets to measure the pH and active oxygen levels of your pool water. In order to read the values, the tablet must be completely dissolved. Wait until the tablets have dissolved and read the scale immediately without waiting!

Our DPD No. 4 tablets are compliant with the latest guidelines. In contrast to classic tablets, so-called EVO tablets contain the substance potassium iodide, which is contained in our tablets, in reduced, harmless quantities. 

Optimal pH value and active oxygen content

In order to always ensure the effectiveness of the active oxygen, the pH value must be checked regularly. A neutral pH value should be between 7.0 and 7.4. Of course, it is equally important to measure oxygen levels regularly to ensure that there is enough active oxygen to fight germs and eliminate all organic contaminants in your pool water. The ideal value is 3.0 - 8.0 mg/l.
